The NGR9009 Vector Signal Generator (VSG) is a small, low power, 6-channel digital waveform generator. The product delivers up to 6 synchronous transmit channels at instantaneous bandwidths of up to 160 MHz using the latest in programmable RF and digital technologies.
With a frequency range of 100 MHz to 6 GHz, the NGR9009 VSG is well-suited to a wide range of applications in the domains of simulation, research, testing and measurement. Multiple units can be synchronised when even higher transmit channel counts are required.
The platform is particularly well-suited to hardware-in-the-loop simulation for wideband multi-channel systems like direction finders and COMINT receivers. All units ship with an intuitive web interface for system management and playback control, meaning that no additional software installation is required.
The capabilities of the platform can be further enhanced by combining it with a NGR9009 Software Defined Radio (SDR), unlocking the potential to implement full-duplex and MIMO applications.
