The NGR9009 software-defined radio is a small, low-power, 6-channel digital radio transceiver. It allows users to coherently capture up to 6 RF channels at bandwidths of up to 160 MHz and stream the data over a high-speed fibre optic interface. The transceiver can be customised through Peralex’s existing range of application-specific analog front-end (AFE) options. Peralex also offers bespoke AFE design services to fit custom requirements.
The NGR9009 is available in a rugged pole-mounted outdoor configuration that allows the receiver to be placed directly adjacent to an antenna array, minimising cable losses. The receiver is also available in a half-unit indoor rack-mount configuration.
This low power, lightweight transceiver is ideal for applications such as phased array radar, direction finding, SIGINT, and spectrum monitoring. Multiple NGR9009 SDR units can be synchronised for applications with high channel count requirements. Users can also combine the NGR9009 SDR with the Peralex NGR9009 Vector Signal Generator (VSG) for full-duplex applications such as MIMO radar or hardware-in-the-loop simulation.
The NGR9009 SDR ships with a powerful software development kit (SDK) to guide users in developing their own high-performance signal processing pipelines.
